Who We Serve
Who We Serve
Experiencing poverty is not just about a lack of income.
More than 257,400 households in Central Indiana are in, or one emergency away from, poverty.
Living below the federal poverty level represents daily stress, physical and emotional pain, illness, shame, trauma and lack of equal opportunity. And it’s likely to repeat from one generation to the next.
That’s where we come in.
Understanding the unique needs of the communities we serve is critical to supporting the programs and places best equipped to create long-lasting change for families and individuals who call Central Indiana home.
We are proud to represent and make an impact in Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Marion, Morgan and Putnam counties, working alongside more than 80 nonprofits to boost impact.
